Calvaire - Blu-Ray review

Brilliant folk horror movie with very weird atmosphere. Plus Brigitte Lahaie makes a cameo appearance.

The problem with this film is it‘s too slow paced. And also it doesn‘t know what it wants to be a comedy or a thriller. Too tame for a thriller and too dark for a comedy. Also the finale is umsatisfying and the film just ends. We thought that this guy will at least take out his enemies in the end. We both expected more from this film. Luckily we got it on sale.
