I like to use the small Triad Template in planning out a three color limited palette. It fits nicely in my travel kit and is quite sturdy.

It is extremely well made but lightweight. I have always struggled to be disciplined to create color charts and color studies—mostly because they are messy and difficult to keep organized. This template is perfect. I love making color studies now.
