This depth plate is the way to go!! It treats each tooth independently so if you’ve filed one tooth lower than the surrounding teeth it will still cut!! Simple and effective. Recommend!!

Now I know what depth my rakers are set to and they are consistent.
I had been using the Stihl 2-1 for raker depth co trial but always wondered what depth it was cutting to. Turns out it was around .020-.025. When I used the .025 opening the depth plate would sometimes shave a little off.
