Puratap Conversion Kit

A great filtration solution

I purchased the system to replace my puratap filters. Like many others I wanted to get away from the puratap hard sell. Replacement was easy to install, everything came with it as expected. Anyone could do this replacement. Water is much better as well, well worth the time and money. Online order was easy and quick. I'll be ordering replacement filters from here in the future. Highly recommended.

Great solution and water quality

The delivery was quick and everything arrived that was ordered. It was easy to install; the only main thing I needed to do was position screws higher under the sink to hang the unit. I was looking for a solution to move away from puratap (for a variety of reasons) where I could manage my own filter change. This product was perfect as it uses the puratap fittings/tube/tap, so nothing else was needed, and it made the changeover install super easy. The tool for changing filters is a great help, so the kit is really well prepared. I really enjoy the idea of a self-sufficient filtered water solution and so far it’s been great. No leaks or air bubbles in the tubing, not noisy, or any other issues. In terms of the water quality, I haven’t done any particular tests, but taste wise it is good and refreshing. Peace of mind knowing it’s filtered water. The only thing that was missing was a John Guest fitting which instructions said should’ve come with the kit, but for some reason it was missing. I was able to get one cheap from a plumbing store but bunnings have similar ones too. Definitely recommend this unit if converting from puratap or simply looking to get a water filter solution.

Easy to install..10 mins Water tastes great..way better than Puratap. Now I can change my filters myself and have peace of mind it's done right..unlike my last puratap filter change.
