False Advertising
I have been a loyal customer of this brand for over a year and have purchased their nails regularly from TJX stores. I genuinely loved the products so much that I frequently recommended them to other people. Unfortunately, my experience ordering directly from the company has completely changed my opinion of the brand.
I purchased the Value Box for $48 because the website photos show **FOUR nail sets**, and the product description says: “Free mystery nail art included with every Press-On Nails Value Box purchase.”
Only THREE nail sets arrived. When I contacted the company, I was told that the “mystery nail art” is not a fourth nail set—it is apparently just stickers.
That is incredibly misleading. If you look at the product photos, a reasonable customer would understand that they are purchasing four nail sets. If the “mystery nail art” is merely stickers, that should be made extremely clear in the product description and, frankly, the photos should not give the impression that the purchase includes four sets.
What made this even more disappointing was the resolution. After paying $48 for four sets and receiving only three, I was offered a **$5 gift card**. That doesn't even come close to the $12 value of the missing set.
I wasn't a random first-time customer. I was someone who had supported this brand for over a year, purchased their products repeatedly, and recommended them to other people. I specifically chose to pay more and purchase directly from the company because I wanted to support the brand.
Instead, I left feeling completely misled and taken advantage of.
The nails themselves are great. The way this company chose to handle this situation is not.
**I would strongly recommend looking very carefully at what you're actually receiving before purchasing one of these “Value Boxes.”** If you're willing to pay $48 for three then go for it.
