Charcoal on hard maple

First time using Charcoal, the color was nice on maple. However, maple can be splotchy with finish and some pre-color may be helpful for a more even coloration

Easy and great result

It was easy to apply and the result was a beautiful smooth finish. I did expect the white to be a bit more like whitewash, which it was not. I may try again with the cotton white to get a bit more of a whitewash look.

Easy to apply, rapid curing, consistent color

great finish, like any the surface prep is critical (good sanding but only to 120 grit, final dust clean with rubio raw wood cleaner). then it goes on quickly and easily color consistency is great and protection - very robust. The stain color/wood result tool is very useful starting point as well
