The 8 foot almost immediately became our go-to leash for neighborhood dog walks. It gives him a little more freedom while not sacrificing safety or control. I still use the shorter one for events, so they are both getting a lot of use!

It was like I had her trained. No more pulling on the leash. Took about 2 minutes of her trying to remove the Side Kick off nose. After that she adjusted and doesn’t pull on leash at all. So I ordered a second one. I wish I had bought two originally that way I would have got the book too. Highly recommended!!!

Heather's Heroes sidekick has been a great training tool for my Golden Retriever. My previous golden I used the gentle leader which worked quite well but the SideKick has been even better. The material is gentle on the dog and he instantly relaxes once the leash is applied. As a puppy I used it daily for walks and he was alway responsive and solved reactive behavior with minimum stress. I recommended the sidekick to my son for his Australian Shepherd puppy and witnessed the same satisfying results. Excellent trainer asset for dogs.
