Overall, I find Alpha Industries jackets to be medium quality but value for money. This jacket carries excellent quality trims and it was a surprise. The insulation is very warm and the jacket's shape stays nice and round without making scratching noises when walking etc. I had 7 bombers in my closet. I did not need (another) black bomber. However, this jacket is so much more than a bomber jacket. It has functional pockets front left and right w zipper and many more with velcro. You can choose to categories your items the same way you would in a backpack! The rib is better quality than the regular Alpha Industries bombers (especially the waist!) .. The sleeves are detouchable which is great for an alternative use ... and... (!!!) it has straps to be worn as a backpack hanging off your back!!!! All these elements together in an amazing shape made me buy this baby. For me this is the go to jacket for a good 5 months of the year including the heaviest hardest coldest months that I do not need to wear a long coat. Runs a tad big but it is advertised as an oversized item. It is also rain-proof to some extend. If you need totally rainproof you would need to go for a rubberized coat...

Runs large

This is beyond on the baggier side. Would benefit from draw strings at the waist. Fabric tends to pick up grease stains rather easily. Otherwise I like the detachable arms, pockets, shoulder straps.

Instantly my favorite jacket! I love it. Eye catcher… head turner… conversation starter. Fits great. Looks even better!
