Dental Pod

This is a replacement for another Zima dental pod, which, while really good at cleaning my aligners it only lasted 18 months before breaking down. This is why I'm holding back on the 5 stars as I would expect the pod to last a lot longer than that. If it is still going in 5 years' time, I will give it 5 stars.

These are much better than my usual cleansing tablets. I have had my retainers for a long time, so they looked a bit yellow with age. They have had several sessions with the Zima dental pod & are looking a lot better. Still a bit to go, but so far so good & it’s reassuring to know they have had a thorough clean & are therefore a lot more hygienic as a result.

I've been thinking about purchasing the Zima pod for a good while now. I found the methods I used weren't efficient enough to keep my retainer clean (brushing daily and weekly steeping in a very strong solution). The Zima method seemed much kinder and more thorough. It was a considered purchase for me but I am very glad I took the plunge! For the first few days, I used a tablet daily and did a cleanse twice (as recommended in the leaflet enclosed with the pod). I am now using the pod on the longer cycle and using it with the tablet once a week. It's certainly made a difference to my retainer. Looks like new again!
