Great sound quality but disappointing microphone

I received the Maxwell headphones from Audeze, and overall they are excellent. The sound quality is impressive, with strong bass, great clarity, and a premium build that feels solid and comfortable. However, I’m very disappointed with the microphone. I believe there might be an issue with mine because people can’t hear me clearly. My voice sounds weak and unclear, which is frustrating for a headset at this price point. I’m hoping this is just a defect with my specific unit, but as of now, the microphone performance is a major letdown.

Well crafted with subpar audio.

These are well-built gaming headphones, but they do not justify a $300 price point. Connectivity is straightforward across platforms, and microphone quality is solid and reliable. My primary issue is the audio performance. Despite trying multiple EQ profiles recommended by reviewers, the music quality remains underwhelming. Compared to several less expensive headsets I own, these simply do not sound as good. I am genuinely puzzled by the overwhelmingly positive YouTube coverage, as my experience does not align with the praise. For example, the $180 Drop Sennheiser headphones outperform these in nearly every category except build materials.

Great sound, critical hardware flaw

Sounds great, especially with eq, but across three different units I ordered, all of them had a problem where a very high pitched frequency would play out of the left earcup when certain low sounds and notes were playing. Audeze said they couldn’t fix it and I had to return all three units. Would not recommend
