Spend the extra money if you can

Obviously no contest compared to a prior, 4GB Model 4B. But the extra performance is an improvement. It went from something I tolerated for the sake of learning to hardware I was willing to use daily.

It is outrageously priced, but the unit is and does what it is supposed to do. More than just an incremental upgrade it provides many new and imooved features. They are getting remarkably close to a unit that can act as a desktop. Ive been buying the 8GB models amd then switched to 16GB model justbefore the price jump. It was $99 at Christmas, todaybits $350 and i can't swing that nor the $225+ for the 8GB, so i had to settke for the 4GB model.
