Focal Elex Headphones

As a Headphone Collector, I was only missing one of Focal's line of wired headphones. I have everything from the Elear to the Utopia. The Elex completes the collection - and as with all of Focal's headphone products, it too delivers with no disappointment. I'm glad to have caught it before its disappearance from the market.

I have not had these Focal Elex headphones very long, (less than a week), but I am learning to love the sound they produce. I am a low budget audiophile, and these are the best headphones I have purchased, and have ever listened to. I’m loving how musical they are, very tight, punchy bass, vocals that are very present above the instruments, and every horn and stringed instrument sounds so natural.

Great looking headphone, but with poor comfort and build. Headband has very little padding, combined with the heavy weight and clamp, leads to an uncomfortable listening experience. Sound is ok. Midrange is really foward and can be fatiguing. Treble is also a little grainy. Bass quality is good, but lacks deep sub bass. Tbh if this wasn’t a final sale item, I’d return.
