Although another person commented it is not true to size, I ordered a Large and it fits perfectly. It is just perfect for wearing over a hoodie or flannel shirt, while providing enough room to still move freely. Vest seems to be well constructed.

I got this vest and the matching pant, while I’m not super happy with the pant this vest is an AWESOME mid layer piece and I run it under my high pile hoodie and it keeps me very warm!
