A lot of fun and a really nice end product
This was my second keyboard solder kit and a big step up from my last one (all through hole solders). A challenging job as the components are so so small, but I got it all working with some minor resoldering. Over all it took about 20hrs, but I was pretty slow and watching tv as I went, much better value than a similarly priced LEGO set which would last no more than 2hrs.
The kit looks great and is definitely worth the money.
I will be getting another kit from mechboards when I can justify getting a 4th keyboard…

Wonderfull first kit, with all the components you need
I really loved this kit as it comes complete (just need switch and caps) and you do not have to look for controlers, display, ...
my 14yo followed the very good guides and the keyboard was ready to be tested at the end of the day and all worked. Now it is learning time!
