The replacement was worth the cost. Having bought a second FlowHive, I knew they were made better than the original. Happy with purchase!

Multifunctional Tray

This tray is exactly the same as the one that came with the hive in the beginning. It is so much easier to have a spare tray when servicing the hive, just remove one and replace it with a clean one. I recommend having a spare. It would be nice if the FlowHive came with 2 trays and 2 keys. Just saying guys.

Seems Good, But Could Be A Bit Stronger.

This tray is difficult to clean. In order to spot varroa mites and other important details, it needs to be routinely cleaned and spotless. The ridges separating the compartments make wiping it down more difficult as debris is hard to wipe from the many corners and edges. Also, my 1st tray cracked while I was cleaning it. I was tapping the tray several times on the edge of a trashcan (in order to remove any final dust and debris) when it cracked. I ordered and paid for a replacement, and I plan to be much more gentle with it from now on.
