The Best Travel Pant

I got the Aro Kick Flare Pant which I think is a bit more flattering if you have more muscular legs. You still get a slim look though. I love these pants. You can sit on a long flight and step off the plane looking fresh - no creases. I haven't had a problem with pilling either. I wear them everywhere - casual wear or dressy (your top, shoes, and jewellery will set the tone). Extremely versatile.

Aro Reversible bootcut pants

I wear these very often. It’s a practical combination of discrete burgundy plaid on one side and black on the other. I wear them to the office and have brought them to a weekend getaway. They are comfortable, crease resistant and never get those ‘stretched out’ knees. I love them.

Aro Bootcut Pants

This kind of slightly cropped, slightly bootcut black pant has been my staple for a couple of decades now, starting with a pair from Max Studio that I’d found at Winners. Wore those till they were threadbare! I wear these pants all year, and finding them is always a bit hit and miss. I’ve tried an Eileen Fisher version but they tend to bag in the knees in an unrecoverable way, so in preparation for some upcoming air travel where I’m committed to carry-on baggage only, I needed a worthy and reliable replacement. I saw the Helen Clarkson ad for the Aro pants float by on FB, ordered them online, received them promptly, and am loving the fabric weight, the comfortable pull on style, and the cut. Styl’n yoga pants in other words. I’ve only worn my Aro pants twice and not yet while sitting on an airplane for 8 hrs straight, and though the fabric seems to holds it’s shape well, I can feel them loosening around the waist a little… I’m a size 10-12 typically, and ordered the Large, which fit well though I might go into the store to try in the Medium, in anticipation of the ‘long-sit slide’. In any event, I think I’ve found my new supplier for black, pull on boot cut, pants! It’s one of the Helene Clarkson staples too!
