Top Tone !!!
I have used Tonerider PUPs on 3 of my guitars now, couple of Squires and a HS Anderson. Fantastic and transformed a couple of them. I just purchased the Alabama Humbuckers for a guitar I have built from scratch looking forward to hearing those !!

They Just Sound Right
I've tried a lot of pickups. The Tonerider City Limits are the first set that made me stop looking for something better.
Great Strat tone, balanced across all positions, and no weak spots. They just sound right.
At this point, I have no interest in replacing them. That's probably the best review I can give.

Incredible pickups!
Very versatile and dynamic.
The hot bridge pickup can sound sharp with certain tones, but an EQ will calm it down and it's amazing for wet clean tones without one!
The middle pickup is as full as a single middle pickups get and has great definition, making it great both on its own and together with the bridge or neck.
The neck is very dynamic, it can both clean up very nicely and supply the fat SRV-style grit when needed.
The City Limits are capable of delivering amazing tone be it clean or dirty, and can easily be sculpted with EQ or compression to get anything you could ever need from a SSS strat.
