Versatile pickup that packs a punch

I've paired the Generator HB with Apex Plus SCs and it makes a superb set. The Generator has a really tight and punchy bottom end for high gain thrash metal, 'Justice For All' tones easily handled. I've used the coil split on a push-pull pot, and with gain rolled back and midst rolled up you get beautiful Americana tones, like 'Blackbery Smoke' or 'Rolling Stones'. Clean tones are also great. A versatile pickup.

I have several sets of Tonerider pickups. They are all really good. The generator set is no exception. They sound phenomenal. I hope they offer a hotter set of alnico 2 pickups in the future though.

Tonerider Generators

I’d purchased these for a Les Paul cut body. They fit perfectly well. They always come with an install guide that I find easy to follow. The packing is always make them feel very premium and come with stickers to adorn your wall or tool box with. Easy to wire to a new or existing harness. The gold covers sparkle and have a protective scratch film on. The sounds are incredible that these produce they have a lot of bite and bark across the ranges. Fantastic products and service from the tonerider guys.
