I recently purchased the VTX400 blower to vent our workshop which it does nicely. Unfortunately it took 2 weeks to arrive (in greater Vancouver area) and was defective. I'm surprised Vortex didn't discover this simply by plugging it in as a test. My email to CGS elicited no response, so I called them after two days and the very pleasant customer service rep apologized and promised to ship a replacement. Further delays in shipping made the total order time 29 days. I'm happy with the blower construction and operation. It measures about 58 db noise at 5 feet distance which is fine for my workshop. I recommend Vortex check their QA process and CGS speed up their shipping.
