Perfect.
Fits securely, light as air, slips into your pocket (easier than my phone does) when you get to the tree you're there to chop. Really can't think of how you'd improve on it from a functional point of view.

Light and durable
Bought 2 for a double bit Michigan axe. I was pleasantly surprised to see the snap under the buckle, so they pop together easily. Theyre light and durable for my limb-busting axe. Not as pretty as leather, but 10x more functional and practical.

Great for user axes
These aren't something you'd put on a display piece, but as a guy who owns about 40 users getting leather sheaths for all of them is cost-prohibitive. Bought two of these and they fit every axe I own outside of one full-bit Kelly Jersey. The opening is 1/16" shy of fitting that one. I typically only carry one axe at a time, 2 would be unusual, so I'm set on axe sheaths for less than $35. We'll see how they hold up long-term but they appear to be durable. I also haven't found a need to adjust the strap length between different 3.5-4lb axes. There's a happy medium where they might be a little snug, or slightly loose, but nothing that requires adjusting the buckle.
