Crosswing 7ft awning with talon mounts on Sherpa Crestone

I bought an additional set of the Crosswing Talon Mounts (total of 4) and mounted them equally spaced on my Sherpa Crestone rack to support my Crosswing 7 ft awning for beach use on the Emerald Isle Coast beaches. Gives me much more confidence over t slot mounting - absolutely not going anywhere. Great positioning for the Crosswing awning off the Crestone Roof Rack - looks fantastic!l on my Gen5 4Runner

Worth the investment

I bought an off brand car awning for an upcoming 4 week, 7,000 mile road trip, but my vehicle's roof rails were incompatible with how it's designed to be mounted. I struggled with finding a solution and visited several vehicle outfitting stores in my area to no avail. I found the Crosswing Talon Mount Kit, but hesitated since the price was almost as much as my awning. Given the return policy, I thought I'd give them a try and am thrilled that I did! These fit on my cross bars perfectly, and the low clearance of the towers still allow my roof case to fit. I've deployed the awning several times now and these brackets are sturdy, durable, look good, and I cannot wait to use them along with all of my other vehicle accessories for this epic road trip!
