In a world where watches seem to trend toward expensive, really expensive, and stupid expensive, where "starter watches" push $1,000, Redwood is saying "hold on, we can do better". The Tactical v3 provides solid performance with a tool watch build that doesn't break the bank. Can't decide which one you like? For that "starter budget", you can get several! You also get local design and local build, which is hopefully a trend that will continue to build. Thanks Redwood, I'll be back!

Perfect Mil-Spec and Redwood’s Best

This watch is perfect. It's my third Redwood watch, having already gotten the Tactical V2 Solar Stealth and the Recon - C-47 Chronograph, which are both excellent and sit next to my gshocks, timex, and Hamilton. This mil-spec Tactical V3 auto takes the cake though. From the dial-markings to the movement, the lume and bezel, it's all perfect. The size is also just right. Having worn and owned 38s and 42s, 40 is the sweet spot. Despite being a little thicker than its solar brother, this model still sits comfortably on my wrist and isn't too heavy. Clear legibility. Solid construction. And actually functional as a diver - since I've tested out the solar version in the water quite a bit. For the price it's the most ideal tool watch that you'll actually get use out of and it looks great with any strap. I think the tactical mil-spec auto is arguably the best model that redwood makes. I'll save the luxury watches for my retirement. For the rest of life this is it.
