Excellent pantry staple
Pantry staple in a paper bag. Fine granular mince when hydrated in water or stock. What more can I say? Get some!

Terrific TVP!
This soy mince/textured vegetable protein (TVP) is the best, most affordable, nutritious & versatile meat substitute you could wish for. Perfect in a bolognaise sauce or in a luscious lasagne, fantastic in a Mapo tofu, great in a "meat" pie & delicious with rice or noodles. Super convenient because it lasts for ages stored in the pantry. Just rehydrate in hot water or stock & you're good to go. I tried unsuccessfully to source TVP from local supermarkets & it was awesome to finally find it at the Naked Asian Grocer
