Not for older Pacmin Models

I bought these thinking I could mount Pacmin models of 1990-current vintage. Unfortunately, these seem to only work with the newest Pacmin models which I'll explain in a bit. These are very, very nice mounts that on the website pics look like metal, but they're clear plexiglass (which is nice). PROS: - Construction: really solid and 1/2" thick plexiglass to give that invisible look (vs. the metal arm on the table stand) - Design is really nice CONS: - The models will only face one way due to the pin that can't be removed (easily cut off but then your models may eventually move in place) - The plexiglass is very thick and although PacMin provides a longer screw, it means some older models that use a narrower screw will not fit - Will not work with older PacMin models due to pin location and/or thumbscrew location. I bought hoping to mount some older PacMin models (made in 1990s to 2000) but unfortunately the location of the pin and/or thumbscrew prevents this. I bring this up in case anyone has older models they are thinking about. The distance between the pin and the center of the thumbscrew hole is 1/2 inch, so measure before you order to be sure. Additionally, keep in mind the mount where the thumbscrew goes is 1/2 inch thick, and older screws tend to be 1/2 inch long, so you'll need a longer screw if in the event your aircraft has a thinner screw size vs. the newer standard sizes.

Great design, and the models look awesome mounted this way. Any changes being made for a right facing set up? Having a left or right facing option to choose from would be nice when purchasing. Thanks...
