Nice windproof, warm layer

These tights allow me to XC ski with two fewer layers. They combine warmth and windproofness with compression. One drawback is they are not as long as my last pair of size MT X2U compression tights.

Good fitting compression and warmth

When you start off in a below zero day in these, you feel the cold more than other lined tights in this category, however after a mile or two warm-up the garment starts to work with body heat/moisture to insulate. The compression is perfect, which is a hallmark of 2XU. The knee area could be more integrated with the rest of the leg and not separated as it feels thinner. This is a mens and has accommodation in the crouch area, which creates a funny shaped bag area, which is one reason I knocked a star off, people tend to look there as you run past them. :) Otherwise a keeper for 30 - 40 degree mornings.

I use them for winter mountain biking!

I use these compressions for winter mountain biking. Wind resistance is excellent. Comfort is excellent. Styling is excellent. You can bend over in these and not have them sag too. Plus they have tall sizing. No one makes better compressions than 2XU. Mountain biking you are still going at speed, and these still keep me warm. These are perfect in winter, and work great for mountain biking.
