I initially purchased this color in a sample pack. I had to buy it in a tube because it quickly became one of my favorite colors to use

This is a great color to add to your palette. It’s character is rich and has an opacity that makes it workable with cold wax

Plein air must have

I never leave mauve umber out of my travel kit. Great to mix with ultramarine or black to get those shadows. Try it.
