Stubby Screwdriver

Great screwdriver if you can find the bits.

I really like this screwdriver and want to love it, but I can't. It's well designed in so many ways: the bit storage works great, the knurling on the shaft is fantastic, and the ratchet is excellent. It's a decent fidget toy in addition. The one thing holding this back from being a perfect stubby screwdriver is their design choice to limit the onboard storage to 20mm long bits instead of widely-available standard 25mm 1/4" bits. It is extremely difficult to source these shorter 20mm bits. The only source I can find that has them readily available is the LTTStore, and those seem to go in and out of stock with some regularity. You can use longer bits if you want to, but you can't store them onboard, making the driver less useful.

Good Size, Good action, slightly stiffer than full size.

It works almost as well as the full size. The bit retainer spins more freely than the full size and is convenient for one handed operation, the ratcheting is just like the full size but a bit higher back drag, which isn't as big a deal when the bit retainer works for a smooth one handed operation without readjusting or pulling the bit out.

Love it, perfect for tight spaces, the ratchet isnt as satisfying as the full sized but I suppose its a fair tradeoff. I'm sure they couldnt do as many teeth on the gear as they could with the full size or something.
