The perfect mascara

There is so much to love here. I have been looking for a package- and waste-free mascara for a long time now. I found one that I had been using that had compostable packaging, but took forever to apply and was not very quality and smudged on my face. I love that this mascara tube is fully recyclable and reusable, the mascara sticks and doesn’t smudge on my eyelashes, there is a brown option, only a few swipes gives great volume, color, and definition. The one thing I don’t like about it is that it’s a little difficult to clean off, and I often get residual mascara smudges under my eyes after washing my face. It also is nit as natural a product as I would like, but I’ll take recyclable and quality over “perfectly” natural ingredients. Overall, though, this is a phenomenal product and I will plan to buy this forever!

Better than most zero waste mascaras

The mascara is so pigmented and not flakey at all!! While it can be heavy and clump easily, I really really like that it looks like I’m wearing mascara! I feel that most other zero waste mascaras it takes a long time of repeatedly building up on my lashes to make it look different but definitely didn’t need to do that here! Easily removed with the meow meow tween oil cleanser as well I really love!

Thrilled

Holy moly! I was super nervous paying this much (even got it on sale) for mascara, but I needed a new container and wanted to make the switch out of plastic. But after the 1st time wearing it, no regrets! Wore it on a hot day that I sweat and it held up way beyond expectation! Color is exactly what I wanted (black). Only complaint is the brand new bottle seems to have a lot of product (not the complaint) so it tends to come out clumpy (complaint); that was fixed with a clean/unused mascara brush to better distribute the product.
