Confession: I didn’t think it was possible to fall this hard for a rain jacket… and yet, here we are.
My new Ilse Jacobsen Rain71 in Milk Cream has completely exceeded every expectation. The colour is absolutely gorgeous—soft, elegant, and somehow manages to brighten even the gloomiest rainy day. The fit is true to size, the cut is incredibly flattering, and the fabric? Honestly, if you blindfolded me, I’d never guess it was a waterproof jacket. It’s unbelievably soft. It’s one of those magical pieces that somehow makes you look effortlessly stylish. You know the kind… you put it on and suddenly you look like someone who has their life together. I certainly don’t, but thanks to this jacket, nobody has to know. 😄
An enormous thank you to Katherine, Erica, and the amazing team at Get Dressed in North Vancouver.
If you’re considering the Rain71, consider this your sign.
Rain? Bring it on. I’m actually looking forward to the forecast now!

i love my new rain coat. I have wanted it for a few years. I sized up because I have the long quilted vest to layer underneath at times.
