The Jumbo, which no longer exists following its sinking, holds a very special place in my family's life.
Some 10 years ago, Top Deck, which was located on the very top of the Jumbo floating restaurant and independently run and managed by Cafe Deco Group, was the venue for my Daughter's alfresco Hong Kong Wedding. Our family, being an east meets west family which is both multicultural and multilingual thought that the decoration and food offerings at Top Deck together with the opportunity for an alfresco wedding ceremony in the middle of Aberdeen Harbour would make a unique and memorable location.
We were not wrong and the 200+ guests had a magnificent time.
I gave my Daughter and Son-in-law a copy of this print as part of their 10th Wedding Anniversary Celebrations. The print itself is of stunning quality and they were delighted to receive it.
