I previously owned the Bowflex and had to repair plastic components twice with superglue. On top of that, the plates would occasionally fall off mid-set, which felt unsafe. The Nuo set is a huge upgrade—extremely solid, secure, and made with real plates. There’s no comparison. Absolutely worth the investment.

Prime Jewel of Any Home Gym

I was capped at 30lb dumbbells. Had to get either a complete set or the nuobells. Obviously I went all out with the 580s and although they are insanely expensive I have no regrets and no buyer’s remorse. These are the prime jewel of my home gym setup. Respect them, don’t toss ‘em around, don’t drop ‘em. They are absolutely beautiful and practical. I can’t recommend them enough. And yes, they deserve a pedestal, get the rack.
