In your material you write from box to kayak in 3 minutes; that was not true for me. I needed help creasing. At 82 I have lost much upper body strength. You might consider putting an * indicating for those who will struggle with the creases not to give up. Once in the water, my only observation is getting a seat cushion to elevate my 5 foot body for easier paddling. Otherwise, it was a sweet ride.

We just had the opportunity this week to try our Oru Lake Kayaks; we are sold on the foldable design! Five stars for the space-saving design, portability, the ease of folding and unfolding, and the time it saves us in transporting. Thank you for designing this foldable kayak so that older adults and those without a way to transport or store hard-shell models can enjoy the peaceful experience of exploring the waterways. We are thinking of purchasing an additional one so when our daughter visits, she can paddle with us. Because of your product, you’ve reopened a world to us that we thought was a distant memory. Thank you for that.

Wore down quickly, but great product and great customer support

I've really enjoyed my Oru, including taking it on the local river and even kayaking to work! It is incredibly easy to use and is very portable - super carry-able and much more portable (and easier to dry and set up) than my friend's inflatable kayak. My Oru did wear down quickly. After a year there was a hole in the corner of the kayak that caused me to sink (fortunately I was rescued). I wish that the kayak was reinforced on the folded bottom, or that other measures were taked to reduce potential damage from regular use (particularly when carrying). With that said, customer service was very quick to respond to my email asking about the warranty, and they almost immediately sent me a new kayak that I got within a couple weeks. Huge!!!
