Entrancing, heirloom quality, beautiful, endlessly useful

I have a light fetish and own dozens of flashlights and lanterns. Only a few naturally make it in to my daily use and EDC goodies. I am also a pro photographer and love and appreciate good, moody lighting. This is my all-time favorite flashlight and I use it in lantern mode on my dining table at home every day, in our RV as a mood light when dining, and on my nightstand when traveling. It is built exquisitely, has a timeless and beautiful design that makes me want to just hold it, play with it, and turn it off and on via the satisfying rotating dial. The beam light is also perfectly shaped and useful without being overly bright. It illuminates perfectly on evening walks. I take this when traveling anywhere - from campouts to hotel rooms as it creates a beautiful ambiance on lower settings and useful reading, working light on higher settings. The highest setting is very bright and I rarely need that much. I love the flickering candle "secret" mode too! What could be improved? Maybe a "nightlight" mode that is a very gentle glow so it could be left on all night. The lowest setting is great for ambiance but too bright to leave on all night. I bought another one as a gift for a friend and he loves it too.

Customer service for a malfunctioning item was terrible. They emailed me once asking for information, then once I gave them pictures and videos... They stopped replying to me all together. It's a shame because some of their products are awesome. But my experience with their customer service was terrible.
