I ordered this for my Competition Electronics DLX Chronograph as I mainly use it inside, the chronograph went from pretty much useless to now working flawlessly, the lighting system is a must have for anyone who uses the DLX inside! I have a fluorescent light mounted directly above the chronograph and it still works perfectly! I love the entire DLX chronograph system! :) David K

Works as advertised

Finally, I can get all of my readings, while indoors. It has been spotty, over the years. I do have a knock on CED. It would be VERY appropriate to provide a whip for the 24VDC battery connection, in addition to the AC wall wart. The instructions tell you to just cut off the AC end, to use it with batteries. Problem is, I (As many will) have a desire to use this at home (Archery, AC power), as well at the gun range (DC power). If you already own the chronograph, this is a great item to have. However if I were purchasing a chrono/light source now, there other technologies I’d look at first (Albeit more costly).
