Fancy commuter, good for probably anything.
TLDR: Pros: Comfortable, stylish, forward-to-neutral geo for gravel, and as always, an absolute pleasure to work with the company. Cons: Decal durability if you do not get a painted option (however I was sent spares and other colors to play with!) Slightly more in depth: I've quickly become a Ritte fan boy. After building up a Phantom frameset that I stumbled upon, I quickly added an Esprit to the quiver. After accepting that both bikes were great, I placed an order for a SaTir. While waiting for the SaTir, I fell out of love with my commuter and ordered a Satyr frame to replace it. And it is awesome. It makes me look forward to my 15-mile, 1,500 ft round trip commute. I have it built up with flat bars and 650b i9 wheels. Shifting duties are GX AXS shifter to Apex AXS drivetrain. T47 bottom bracket is just about all I accept these days. It's just so quiet, forever, and easy to maintain. To the cockpit, my shifter is accompanied by Sram S300 hydro brakes and a bar mounted RouteWerks bag. All told, with full bottle, folding lock, flat kit, front bag, pedals, lights, etc. my XL is still only 26 lbs with heavy 2" tires. You could build this up easily sub 20, even in an XL. Furthmore the ENVE adv fork is a lovely addition and has me considering adding a dynamo light considering the fork has the internal routing for it. My current flat bars have 0 rise so I added a bit of the excess material from the extra decals I was sent to provide some protection to the frame. First over rotation of the bars sliced right through it. A. the paint underneath was fine and B. that isn't really the purpose of the decal. That said I will just be cognizant of its thinness moving forward. Wrapping up, this company does a really good job. I love their designs, ride quality, and service. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

First steel bike in 30 years
After taking my new Ritte Satyr out of the box, I am even more impressed with the bike. The ride quality is amazing with a very neutral and controlled feel on the 12 mile gravel loop near my house. Elijah's on-line virtual fit is spot on with no adjustments needed. I have recommended this bike to others and could not be more satisfied with this ride. Thank you Elijah and the team at Ritte!!

GOAT!
I love this gravel steed! I’ve ridden it on gravel roads (and single track) all over the US and Europe, and it’s fantastic. I even use it to commute to work a few times a week (a 30 miles round trip) and it’s perfect for dodging Napoli traffic and hopping curbs when things get spicy. Worth it, get it.
