Strange film on the outside product that i cant remove

It’s my own fault for not paying attention to the description and realizing last minute that it’s a SLIM can cooler. My issue is the entire outside of the cylinder was coated with a sticky residue. Neither soap nor rubbing alcohol was able to get it off.
