Array Wool Yarn ~ Tangerine

Tangerine is a luscious color!

Each of the colors from Gist’s Array wool yarn are beautiful. The full range of a color family is very helpful in working gradations of colors in tapestry. The colorline of Array is astonishing. There are 5-6 of each color line which can also be twisted together to create more depth of color. I am very pleased with weaving with this yarn also. It is strong and doesn’t fray. A very versatile yarn.

How I chose Gist Array yarn for my tapestry weaving

I recently began tapestry weaving. What you can create is both beautiful and challenging! I chose the sett and yarn I wanted to use first, and I began learning all the techniques of tapestry weaving with them. But, which yarn? Gist Array is what I chose because of the wonderful color selection and the quality of the yarn. And at a sett of 8 epi I can bundle Array (3 strands) which lets me do wonderful color gradations, blend colors to create new colors, use techniques such as split weft... and more. I am very happy with Array and the tapestries I'm creating with it!
