Love their stuff

Kitchen under-cabinet lighting made easy
Our Kitchen under-cabinet lighting is made easy with the Insteon relay wired-in outlet. LED light bars just plug in and can be controlled from the Insteon switch, remote, or Home Director program. Our Insteon house-wide system has been reliable and convenient for many years!

More effective than I thought it would be!
The chatter I had read suggested that Insteon's products -- specifically Insteon Director -- was effective but limited compared to other systems such as the Universal EISY. In fact, though, it does almost everything I need it to do except vary on/off times based on a custom setting per appliance (versus per the system as a whole) for sunset or sunrise. The learning time to use the more limited app and overcome seeming shortcomings was super short, like half an hour, but once learned, everything seems reliable. Connectivity is never an issue. For the non-engineer, household user, it's just great.
