Use them a lot

I have 8 of these in my system. I use them for garage doors, driveway gate (the later connected to the gate control board from via one pair of a CAT 6 cable 350' away) and to trigger a number of different things based on specific events. The reason for the "4" rating is because unlike nearly every other Insteon device, they have a shorter life (3 to 5 Years typically) and they are not dual band which means in some situation you need a range extender nearby to perform the dual band function if they are install a long way from the Eisy unit. I do appreciate how versatile they are.

It works great, BUT it took me about two weeks to get it to work with the patients of your tech support Steve Lee. It turns out that the device will not work with the Insteon "Director" application no matter what Steve and I try to do. I finally installed "Homeboy" on my phone, and it works with the "Homeboy" application. The only problem I have is the "Homeboy" application is not as user friendly as the "Director" so I am jumping back and forth using the "Homeboy" to operate my garage door and "Director" for all the rest of my devices. I would like a resolution to this problem, but I am doing ok. Steve was very patient and helpful. I would like to use more of your products, but I am in the middle of major renovation and no time for upgrades at this time.

It allows to do so much stuff! I have one to operate the garage door and get status of the door, another one for sprinkler in the yard, one for an electric water valve.
