No instructions how to program buttons for fan
I wired in the 6-button keypad. Pressing the On button turned on the fan light with a 4-sec delay. Off button press works almost immediately. However, I found no instructions anywhere how to program the four small buttons for fan speeds/off. I posted a question about this on the Insteon Forum a week ago, but haven’t received any help.
Also, after adding the 6-button as a new device to the Director app, the device entry for the Fan Control Module shows “Disconnected” and I can’t bring it back to connected while the 6-button is wired in. It should not work that way, because I should be able to control the fan from the app as well as the 6-button.

Custom Switching
We needed a way to control 3 different lighting switch locations with 1 master control. This product exceeded our expectations. We will definitely use this product for future projects. Thank you.

Replaced old 6-button…
I needed to replace an older 6-button controller as it had failed. I’m hoping that this newer model has addressed the failure issues which I suspect is a result of legacy design not appropriately considering heat.
I was able to move my paper labels into the new frame. The old buttons did not appear to match the new frame, so I moved the paper labels.
Setup with my older model 2245-222 hub was easy for newer controllers/switches, and I had to do some manual (hub-bypass) setup with a legacy controller.
All in all, so far, so good!
