I like the additional stability in holding my flute in the correct position.

Comfortable But Doesn't Last Long At All

This patch is quite comfortable, and helps with pain in left hand index finger as well as helps with balance by providing a non-slip surface. However, I have only used it for less than 3 weeks and the patches have already lost their stickiness and are coming off. It's also extremely expensive for just a tiny piece of silicone. I wouldn't mind if it lasted, but less than 3 weeks of use for $15 is not worth it. I guess if you don't mind paying $200+ a year for patches, it will work for you.

I really like them

They are comfortable and keep my right thumb in place.
