Annex Plus

does not mate to skycamp 2.0

I purchased the skycamp 3.0 conversion and annex plus together. The annex will technically work with a skycamp 2.0 but annex will not properly seal to the skycamp 2.0 platform. The skycamp 3.0 has keder rail integrated with the t slot accessory rail to support the annex. I have been trying to get a hold of iKamper to see if I can purchase the keder rail separately and install or if they can give me the dimensions, with no luck. For the price of these products, the support is absolute garbage. The product itself is very high quality, that is the only reason I am giving this 3 stars. If they don't respond with a solution, I will be returning it.

Base camp - annex for the skycamp mini.

Love the idea for the annex but it still needs some tweaking. The flaps at the bottom of the annex are good but would be better if you could connect them to the optional floor. I have a RAV4 and it’s on the shorter side. I think this causes bunching of the fabric between the annex and the skycamp. There’s a gap between the bottom of the skycamp and the fabric that connects to the grommets with Velcro. It’s really hard to get the bottom of the annex to be the “correct” shape. Some instructions or guidelines on where to put the tent stakes would be really helpful.

Great add on the xcover adds a ton of space and love how it can be stand alone as well if you want to go exploring and not tear down camp completely. Was a bit to figure out how to set up first time but I’m sure will be much faster in future camps.
