Purchased these for Rock Monsters South and have since used them at another gig and would never go without using ear plugs again! These saved my ears and I could hear the music perfectly, it just takes the harshness off. Only thing I found an issue was when I took them out between sets I one of the layers folded over on one of the plugs without me realizing and when I put it back in I could tell I wasn't getting the same protection on that ear compared to the other, so beware if you'll be taking them in and out a few times to give them a quick check before you pop them back in! :)
