A simple design that works for a closed and compacted ladder. A more complicated design would allow the wheel to enage at a lower angle making moving an open ladder, extended ladder a lot easier.

Glide Wheels

The wheels work very well for movement of the ladder. These are the third set for my ladder used in Florida. The heat deteriorated the first two sets. The orange outer layer failed on the first two. I plan to keep the ladder in an air conditioning area for this set. The other ladder has done well kept in a Northern climate.
