Could not be happier.
Just took this on a 150 km gravel ride. This rested outside of my 9L handlebar bag. It held a headlamp, medications, hydration tablets, first aid pack, battery bank, cell phone, toque, instant coffee, my cookset, and a bunch of backup snacks - and it was still able to roll three times and hook closed. On day two, it held all of that and the second half of a pulled pork sandwich and some chips. This thing's 3.5L, 4L whatever volume is no joke - but it does a compact and efficient job. It attached extremely well to the handlebar bag, and stayed in place perfectly on long roads, gnarly descents, and a variety of surfaces. I couldn't be happier. Absolutely key for bikepacking, touring, whatever where you have a handlebar bag but still want quick-access items available toward the outside.

Entirely disappointed !!!!
The promise is good, carry essencial small items safely, under your view ! but the reality is that the soft bag, with no support structure in the back of it, just hangs skewed in the handle bar, looking awful like a pillow in the front of the bike! Also the hard plastic to help the fold is too wide, consequently one can fold only half a turn making the bag even smaller than it seems! Disappointed, I would like to return it, and WOULD APPRECIATE BEING CONTACTED BY ORTLIEB ON RESPECT TO THIS! I have two panniers and they are very good, well engineered, but the bag is terrible!
