Received the instrument in good order about a week after placing the order. Looked pretty good right out of the box. Fit and finish looked tidy and the appointments and gold hardware were a plus. I let it acclimate to the east coast climate for about 24 hours before playing it. I found the action to be quite high, even after making a truss rod adjustment with the supplied hex wrench. Further scrutiny revealed the nut slots on the first, second, fifth, and sixth strings were too high. After cleaning those up the action was better, but still too high. I ended up cutting a new saddle to get the string height down to a playable level. Not a bad instrument for the price, but you may have to spend a little more to get it set up properly.
