Perfect beer. Crisp, malty, old-school. I had a couple of these while I grilled a skirt steak, then one more while I ate it. Then, because there's no alcohol to muddle the mind and soften the body, the wife and I took a leisurely eight-mile ride before the sun went down.

I have tried a boatload of n/a beer in my time, and Athletic is the GOAT! Although I have only sampled a few of their offerings, all of them are full of flavor, spice, pungency and bite, just like a regular beer. Satisfying all around. Congrats to the Athletic team!

I was a home brewer for years focusing mostly on stouts, porters, Belgiums, etc. Until a medical issue cut that all out and forced me to NA beers. I searched high and low for NA beers with mouth feel, taste, etc. I have found that with Atlantic brews. This Steam beer was excellent and had all the traits of a good steam beer that I would get in San Francisco!! Now if they would only make a stout on Beer Gas (nitro)!!
