APOL Customer Service

Bought the Kraken and happy with it. Of all the current models, the Kraken is the only model that has a seat soft enough for me. The rest have seats that are too hard, similar to overrated SecretLab chairs. All models offered by APOL also have insufficient padding for back support. In other words, too hard. This applies to the Kraken as well. My REAL issue with APOL is their customer service quality. When I visited the showroom and asked why a particular chair felt more soft than 2 other chairs of the same model, the staff could not answer me. When I asked to pay using NETS, he seemed not familiar with handling NETS transactions. When I asked him to include instructions in the order notes to handle and transport my chair with care, he could not even bother to type properly. When I reminded the staff through WhatsApp to ensure my chair is wrapped and transported securely, I was given nonchalant replies written in broken English. In other words, “Can’t be bothered” attitude. My chair was delivered in pristine condition on a trolley and fully bubble-wrapped (including the legs and wheels), but the delivery uncle said the warehouse normally just cling-wraps the chairs. I am giving a 4-star rating for the chair itself and deducting 1 star for the pretty abysmal customer service. Doubt I will be buying another APOL chair in future.
