The balance is perfect. Inam a home baker and hot this fir chopping chocolate and other things like candued nuts, cold butter, etc. it works so well as a cleaver and a bench scraper.

This is my first cleaver and i am loving it. Not too heavy and safe when not in use with the nice leather sheath in arrived in.
