A much nicer version of the traditional NATO sweater, I’m delighted with mine. This is a dense wool - acrylic blend with a very tight knit…it is not a cable net sweater as some of the CC 55 pictures suggest. The navy blue is extremely dark blue. It is not an extremely thick sweater, I would consider this a light to medium sweater that is beautifully finished off. The neck is very tight as is the belly band. Sizing for US customers runs large, I am 5’ 11” and 185 lbs with a 40” chest and took a medium. The upper proportion of the sweater is a bit wide, in order to leave room for the epaulettes, larger chested people should have no problem. Purchase was very professional … packaging and transaction details great and it arrived quickly via UPS. I’m an airline pilot and was looking for something to provide additional warmth on top of a long sleeve shirt and under my suit coat.
